OUR TEAM
A team of 65 hard working people, men and women, the majority of them from Transylvania, always willing to learn and continue our role of being one of the most reliable and strictly professional players in the field.

Is to have the newest technology available in sheet metalworking and in turning and milling manufacturing, with a blend of hard working, honest people, that must have an obsession for perfection.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is transforming the steel or any metal, into the exact dimensional specifications of drawings. When necessary, we discuss with customers when spotting issues in technical drawings, for example when parts are already at destination but are not perfect to be used.
OUR EXPERIENCE
We have been cutting and bending steel for close to half a century. We passed our learning curve, and we have been going through turnovers in economy several times. We have the strength and the experience, and we are completely qualified for the job.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Understanding the need to act now for saving the planet, we are always acting according to the regulations and even more.
1. We have at the moment completely changed all lighting in our hall to LED where savings can be more than 100% in energy.
2. We installed our first raw of solar panels and planning to increase this as much and as soon as possible.
3. We continuously try to reduce the paper waste.
4. We have set up a system where we recycle or dispose properly, apart from steel and metal waste which is common practice in the industry, all other wastes of grinding discs, remaining from powder coating paints, plastics, packing materials like nylons and carton, and all other materials we deal with.
COMPANY HISTORY
Cyprus
We are a family business that was established in Cyprus in 1977. Starting as a small mechanical shop, the associates soon determined the need for exhausts systems in the market. Therefore, Stelco turned into a bigger manufacturing company.
Growing as a business
Stelco had a steady growth during the 80’s and the 90’s, becoming a large 3000 m² factory with 50 employees and an output of 140 000 exhaust silencers annually. The path would not end here – Stelco had greater plans of moving closer to the clients and suppliers.
Moving to Romania
Stelco moved all of its operations to Romania so it could get closer to its large clients from Western Europe. The move resulted in faster deliveries, better communication and improved access to suppliers. 2011 was also the year we diversified in steel fabrication.
Continuous development
Stelco now produces a broad range of steel structures: machine frames, chassis, trailers, and many others. Our facility is a 4000 square meters factory where we process annually more than 1000 tons of steel, while working with less than 100 employees.
