Steel or any metal sheet can be cut in different ways, but if complex shapes are necessary, then laser machines are the best option. Our AMADA LCG 3015, 3.5 kw CO2 laser cutting machine, offers the same speed with fiber laser machines and it can cut through thicker materials.
With laser cutting it is possible to eliminate the need for machining on many engineering jobs, thus enabling us to have reduced initial costs on newly starting projects.
Laser cutting presents certain advantages over plasma cutting as this process is more precise and uses less energy when cutting steel and aluminum sheets.
The precision levels and edge quality achieved with laser cutting machines are better than traditional cutting methods, as the laser beam will not wear out during the laser cutting process. Laser cutting technology also enables us to cut complex shapes without the need for extra tools and at a similar or even faster speed than other cutting methods.
The fact that laser cutting technology offers reduced contamination of the work piece presents certain advantages over traditional mechanical cutting techniques.
Laser cutting also allows us to cut small diameter holes with complex detail and good edge quality in either sheet, plate, tube or box section.

Punching

We offer a punching service on a wide range of materials from metal to poly-carbonate and plastics. Punching is a metal forming process that uses a punch press to force a tool, called a punch, through the work piece to create a hole via shearing. Punching is often the cheapest method for creating holes in sheet metal in medium to high production values.
